A Note from the Author

This story grew from months of work on early drafts, imagination and reflection. Its themes, emotional core and creative direction began with my own thoughts and continued to evolve through many rounds of decisions and revision.

Alongside a demanding professional life, AI assistance helped me develop and refine the manuscript, proofread the text, format this edition and create the illustrations. That support made it easier to bring a long-held wish to completion, and I am grateful for it.

My heartfelt thanks to my family for understanding how much writing means to me, for their patience through the months I spent shaping this story, and for giving me the time and space to finish it.

And thank you for spending some of your time with Vineet, Shreya and the people who became part of their journey.
